In the summer of 2024, marking the 60th anniversary of China-France diplomatic relations, BAHC Advisory conducted an intensive series of cultural exchange activities, further promoting cooperation and interaction between the cultural and creative industries of both countries.

On July 4th, the BAHC team, together with a delegation from the Hangzhou Cultural and Creative Industries Expo (HCIE) and China Craft Week (CCW), visited ICART Paris, a renowned school of cultural management and art marketing. Nicolas Laugero Lasserre, the director of ICART, and his team from the international department warmly received us. During the visit, both sides engaged in constructive dialogues about future cultural projects, focusing on how innovative cultural initiatives could enhance collaboration between China and France in the cultural and creative sectors.

Following this, on July 5th, BAHC, along with the HCIE and CCW delegation, visited the headquarters of Maison et Objet and Paris Design Week in Paris, where they met with Frank Millot, the President of Paris Design Week and Director of Partnerships & Special Events at M&O.

As a leading global platform for design and art exhibitions, M&O provided valuable opportunities for learning and exchange during the visit. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions, exploring the potential for future official collaborations. This visit not only opened doors for Chinese cultural and creative products to enter international markets but also laid the foundation for deeper cooperation between Hangzhou’s cultural industries and France.

These visits showcased the BAHC team’s active role in promoting Sino-French cultural exchange. By engaging with leading cultural institutions in France, BAHC not only strengthened interactions between Hangzhou and France’s cultural and creative industries but also paved the way for future collaboration, reinforcing the strong cooperative relationship between the two nations in culture and creativity.
