M&O 2026 | BAHC Showcasing Hangzhou Creative Design in Paris

Each September, Paris hosts Paris Design Week and the autumn edition of Maison & Objet, uniting global professionals across home design, craftsmanship and creative sectors. As a leading international platform, the event saw BAHC Advisory partner with Create Hangzhou to present outstanding Hangzhou cultural and creative brands on the global creative stage.
The successful overseas showcase is underpinned by BAHC’s robust end-to-end project delivery capabilities. The team oversaw high-value core operations, including stand design and construction coordination, refined on-site event management, and targeted business matchmaking. With systematic and professional execution, BAHC enabled all participating brands to deliver a high-standard, influential presentation on the international trade scene.
Curated Hangzhou Creative Showcase: Eastern Craftsmanship Meets Global Design
The exhibition featured a curated lineup of premium Hangzhou creative brands, including Made in Nature (自然造物), Yasyee (芽小七), Molynk, Yieon (一眼万年), Rua Rua Panda and more local studios. The exhibits cover intangible cultural heritage handicrafts, contemporary Chinese IP, art plush creations and oriental artefact design. Reinterpreting traditional craftsmanship through modern design and oriental aesthetics, these works drew strong interest from international industry professionals.
The stand served as a vibrant hub for cross-border industry exchange. BAHC hosted buyers and designers from France and across Europe. Multiple brands secured on-site sales and potential business partnerships through face-to-face negotiations with overseas procurement representatives, while international content creators documented the event for integrated online and offline brand exposure.
Cultural Exchange Across Paris Craft Ateliers
Beyond on-site exhibition arrangements, BAHC extended the project to Paris’s local craft ecosystem. Exclusive studio visits were organised for brand founders to visit iconic local ateliers covering wood sculpture, contemporary jewellery, leather craft, ceramics and glassblowing, enabling in-depth peer-to-peer experience sharing between Chinese and French craft practitioners.

Sustained Commitment to Globalising Chinese Design
This project marks another milestone in BAHC’s long-term dedication to globalising Chinese creative brands. It opens new European market pathways for Hangzhou’s creative industries and elevates contemporary Chinese design within global professional circles. Leveraging years of cross-border exhibition experience, BAHC will continue building international exchange platforms to connect Chinese craftsmanship and design with global markets.
