Paris, September 2023 — Hosted by BAHC Advisory, commissioned by the Hangzhou Culture Convention and Exhibition Co Ltd and the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department, BAHC participated in Maison&Objet 2023 under the theme 'The Small Gift from Hangzhou'.
We are honoured to showcase handmade works and design products from three local design brands of Hangzhou: Made in Nature(自然造物), Wanfeng(晚峰), and Treein ART(青壹坊), as well as derivative works by Wu Liren, a Chinese artist from Zhejiang province.
Since 2018, BAHC has built a long-term partnership with the Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Exchange Center, aiming to establish a negotiable platform bridging Hangzhou's local cultural characteristics, local artists, and design brands with the European and British markets.
Maison&Objet is a major French trade fair dedicated to interior design. It takes place bi-annually at the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, renowned as one of the three most prominent European events for the design industry. The fair hosting more than 80,000 trade visitors and 3,000 international journalists per session to the 2,800,000 sq. ft.
As the debut exposition of these three young brands and the artist in Europe, this collaboration offers attendees a unique opportunity to explore a preview of Hangzhou's cultural and creative treasures. Moreover, it sets the stage for future international collaborations among our participants.
