BAMBOO ZOO Paris Pop-Up: A Panda IP Shines During Paris Design Week
Updated: 3 hours ago
Held during Paris Design Week, BAMBOO ZOO 2026 × POP-UP ran from September 9 to 21 at 83 Rue de Turenne, Le Marais, with strategy and execution by BAHC Advisory. As a highlight of this year’s design week, the pop-up centered on the IP RUA RUA PANDA and curated a lineup of Hangzhou creative brands, delivering an immersive Eastern aesthetic experience to Parisian audiences.
An Eastern Bamboo Forest in Le Marais
Themed “BAMBOO ZOO”, the pop-up reinvented a boutique Le Marais venue into an exquisite Eastern bamboo forest. Layered foliage, hanging vines and elaborately arranged panda art installations created a rich, discovery-driven immersive atmosphere. The exhibition presented RUA RUA PANDA’s City Limited, Kitchen, Painter and Magic collections, alongside intangible cultural heritage crafts, contemporary Chinese lifestyle accessories and artistic plush works. The showcase featured creative brands including Made in Nature (自然造物), YASTEE (芽小七), YIEON (一眼万年), Lemoon Land (乐梦之境) and Panda Factory (熊猫工厂), as well as distinctive cultural creations from Chun’an and Xixing.
Artist Collaboration & Interactive Experience
The pop-up launched an exclusive cross-border art collaboration with French illustrator Éponine Cottey, unveiling a suite of limited-edition merchandise including postcards, bookmarks, transparent cards and stickers, available exclusively on-site. On Media Day, September 11, Éponine attended an in-person signing session, interacting with international media, KOLs and visitors, which stood out as one of the event’s most popular highlights.
The venue also featured a themed stamp-collecting experience, allowing visitors to explore the charm of Eastern creativity through exclusive panda stamp collections. Attendees who followed the official Instagram account and shared on-site content received a Paris-exclusive pink panda tote bag, driving widespread organic social media dissemination.
Media Day & Campaign Influence
On Media Day, TikTok creator clem☆ (Clémence B.), with over one million followers, served as a one-day guest store manager, producing on-site content and delivering high-quality targeted exposure for the project. During the exhibition period, leading creators from TikTok, Instagram and Xiaohongshu visited and released original content, achieving extensive cross-community outreach across global social platforms. The event also received featured coverage from Paris-based lifestyle media Play In Paris, further strengthening its professional influence in European design and lifestyle sectors.
Looking Ahead
The BAMBOO ZOO Paris Pop-Up marks another milestone for BAHC in Sino-European cultural and commercial exchange. Beyond a successful overseas creative showcase, the project fully demonstrates BAHC’s comprehensive capabilities in cross-border event planning, full-cycle on-site execution, cross-cultural art collaboration and overseas media promotion.

Moving forward, BAHC will continue empowering Chinese creative brands and creators to explore global markets, deliver high-standard cross-border cultural projects, and elevate contemporary Chinese design and Eastern aesthetics on the international creative stage.
