From 17 to 20 October 2025, BAHC Advisory participated in the 19th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (HCIE), presenting a rich programme of international exhibitions, forums and cultural exchange activities.
As one of the key international partners of this year’s Expo, BAHC Advisory showcased more than 20 artists and brands from the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Sweden and other European countries, reaffirming the company’s long-standing commitment to building creative bridges between Europe and China.

Exhibition Highlights: Creativity Without Borders
At the White Horse Lake Jianguo Hotel and the Hangzhou International Expo Centre, BAHC curated a series of pavilions spanning fine art, design and contemporary craft. The exhibitions presented a wide spectrum of artistic expression — from French design studios and Nordic illustrators to Portuguese textile artists and independent British brands — all centred around the themes of “cultural storytelling” and “sustainable creativity”.
One of this year’s major highlights was the opening of the Miraculous Ladybug China Tour, presented by Miraculous Corp., the globally renowned animation brand. Featuring character art displays, interactive cultural experiences and brand storytelling, the event attracted a large number of young visitors and industry professionals. It demonstrated the cross-cultural potential of international IP in the Chinese market and infused the Expo with fresh energy drawn from global popular culture.

IP Development and Cross-Cultural Collaboration
For the first time, BAHC launched its “Global Museum Shop” Pop-up Art Store, featuring collaborative works by its contracted artists. Recently showcased at Paris Design Week, the project brought together Swedish, Italian and French artists in a cross-disciplinary initiative.
The pop-up store introduced a new model that integrates fine art with innovative cultural products, presenting the diverse value of contemporary art in a more accessible and public-facing manner. By extending the spirit of original artworks into everyday objects, the project promotes the fusion of art and cultural consumption, offering audiences a refined and internationally-minded artistic experience.

Forums and Cultural Activities
On 19 October, BAHC took part in the China Craft Week Forum, where Rosalind Nowicki, Global Head of Consumer Products at Miraculous Corp., delivered insightful perspectives on the intersection of creativity, craftsmanship and brand collaboration.

On 18 October, BAHC led the Portuguese Manual artist team on a visit to Made in Nature – Folk Art & Material Research Centre, where they explored traditional Chinese crafts and local culinary culture. This cultural experience offered international artists a tangible understanding of how traditional craftsmanship continues to inform contemporary creative practice.

China Creation – 2025 CIC Cultural Brand Going Global Exchange
As part of the Expo’s international dialogue programme, BAHC Advisory collaborated with Miraculous Corp. (France) to participate in the “China Creation – 2025 CIC Cultural Brand Going Global Exchange”.
The event examined strategies in international brand cooperation, cultural storytelling and market development, exploring how cultural brands can achieve greater global resonance.

BAHC highlighted the importance and potential of cross-cultural collaboration, demonstrating new possibilities for joint European–Chinese contributions to the global creative economy.
Beyond the Expo: Exploring Hangzhou’s Cultural Landscape
Beyond the main exhibitions and forums, the international delegation visited the Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Yuanbai Gallery, and the Starbucks Intangible Cultural Heritage Concept Store, gaining insights into how craftsmanship and cultural heritage are interwoven into contemporary urban life in Hangzhou.
Looking Ahead
BAHC Advisory’s participation in the 2025 Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo once again underscored its vision of fostering global creative exchange.
By bringing together artists, brands and institutions from diverse cultural backgrounds, BAHC continues to promote cross-cultural understanding and collaboration — transforming creativity into a shared language that connects people and cultures worldwide.
