On October 19, 2025, during The 19th Hangzhou Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (HCIE 2025), BAHC Advisory participated in the China Craft Week Forum, a dedicated conversation on the future of craftsmanship in the global creative economy.

The forum brought together experts, designers, and cultural practitioners to discuss how traditional craft can adapt, evolve, and thrive in the modern marketplace. It offered a platform for cross-cultural exchange and collaboration — highlighting craftsmanship as both a heritage of culture and a driver of innovation.

BAHC Advisory was honored to invite two distinguished speakers:

  • Filipa Belo, founder of Portugal Manual, an independent platform promoting contemporary Portuguese craft and artisanship.

  • Rosalind Nowicki, Global Head of Consumer Products at Miraculous Corp. (France), representing the globally renowned IP Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

Both speakers shared valuable insights on the commercialization of craftsmanship, showing how traditional skills can merge with modern design, brand collaboration, and global storytelling. Their case studies illustrated how artisanal values can be transformed into tangible creative products and meaningful international partnerships.

Through this exchange, the discussion reaffirmed that craftsmanship is more than the preservation of tradition — it is a living language of creativity that connects cultures, markets, and communities.

We hope this forum serves as a beginning: a catalyst for new conversations and collaborations between heritage and innovation, shaping a more connected creative future.
