SPARK IGNITION is a lifestyle brand of silk handicrafts. The brand has founded in London, UK since 2018. The team had cooperated with Cannes Film Festival (Festival de Cannes), Shanghai The-Mix-Place, additionally, they had also held their pop-up store in Mayfair, which is one of the most prosperous areas of London. Just like the meaning of its name, SPARK IGNITION is always so active as a burning flame in the fields of fashion, they are looking forward to paving a new way by silk, openly and enthusiastically.
Interestingly, the acronym of SPARK IGNITION is « SI », which corresponds not only with the word « Silk », but also can be associated with its Chinese pronouns « sī ». It implies a blend of eastern and western cultures, soft silk with a powerful design, and change with convention.
At China Craft Week 2020 (CCW) in November in Hangzhou, the British Pavilion handled by BAHC Advisory joined forces with the Chinese local silk collection store SILK MARKET and SPARK IGNITION, the three sides conducted in-depth cooperation. On this occasion, SPARK IGNITION brought its new series of silk products that applied the different themes or elements like nature images, national cultures, aesthetics of dots to its silk products, these concepts respond exactly to the brand’s spiritual core, which is multicultural, conventional but also innovative.
